I’ve begun my Thanksgiving planning. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday for many reasons. It is a chance to be outwardly thankful for abundant life.
There are so many people who are suffering, lonely, sick, in poverty, in debt, experiencing loss. There are also those who are lost and without purpose. I’m aware of these people, but I admit, in the midst of my abundance, I take for granted all I do have. I get caught up in the things of this world and all my good intentions fall by the way side.
I want to do, but I fail to do. I want to love, but I fail to love. I want to give, but I fail to give.
My husband is faithful, works hard, fathers well and is so sweet and loving. Thank you love!
My husband and I are blessed each day with our children. They think deeply, have much compassion for others, and they work hard to please us. They show respect and despite the difficulties and challenges, they succeed at being salt and light.
Thank you Lord for all the blessings in my life. There are too many to count. I am thankful.
